Character Building on Persisitance – CLICK TO COMMENT

By Shani Weintraub  The speech that’s really important to our grade is coming up. It’s proof read, clear, excellent and deserves an A+. All you need to do is read it to the class. Alright, the moment is coming closer. You’re getting nervous by the minute. You walk up to the front of the classroom. Everyone is staring at you. You choke out your first few words, “He…., um, um, um,” the class is laughing. Your cheeks are 2 red tomatoes. You can’t speak. Should you continue, or not? You finally get your whole speech out. Whoa, you take a sigh of relied. Then, you realize your whole class and teacher are smiling and applauding for you. “It’s a good thing you didn’t give up,” you say to yourself. The final step is seeing your mark on your paper. A big A+ on it.
