From the Torah on Friendship – CLICK TO COMMENT
By Matilda Kassab One day, I went to school and I told my friend, Lola that I got a bad mark on my test. I told her not to tell anyone. Then, in lunch everyone knew that I got a bad mark and I was really mad. I only told Lola. I went up to Lola and told her, “Why would you tell everyone? I thought you were my friend?” She said, “I am your friend.” So I said, “Why would you tell anyone that I got that bad mark? I thought I could trust you? She said, “But everyone was asking me and they said if you tell us we will tell you what’s on the test. So, I said, “It doesn’t matter. You would rather get to know what’s on the test then keep a secret?” She said, “I am really sorry. I won’t do it again.”
