Jewish Values on Learning from Failure – CLICK TO COMMENT
By David Cohen An example of overcoming failure is when someone takes a test in school. The night before the test he really didn’t study that much and he was very nervous while taking the test. Two days later he got the test back and he failed. The teacher came up to him and asked if he wanted a retest. The boy said, “Why would I embarrass myself again if I just failed the test?” The boy went home and studied non stop all night long. The next day, he took the test with confidence. He passed with a very good grade, because he tried again and changed the way he did it.
