By Shayna Spitzer  Once I was learning how to rip stick. My friend taught me and she was an expert at it. She taught me step by step. So, I tried and I wasn’t balanced enough and I fell straight off into the street. I was thinking, “Would I ever learn?” I didn’t have faith in myself. I tried again and didn’t even make a bit I fell right off. The way she taught me looked easy, but it wasn’t. But, I thought to myself, I’m not giving up. I’m better now at it. I’ll never give up. And slowly but surely I got a hang of it. I got much better at it and I love to do it. Now, I am an expert at it. To tell you the truth, I am much better than my neighbor. I am so glad that I didn’t give up at this point of my life. I tried soooo hard and I fell a lot. But I got right up and never stopped.
